Helambu region is relatively un spoilt despite being so close to Kathmandu city. The trek offers you deep insight of buddhist culture with ancient monasteries, shrines, stupas and prayer flags. Majority of the region is predominantly occupied by sherpa people of Hyolmo Ethnic and community. Hyolmo people are known for its distinct culture, traditions and simplicity way of life. Languages, culture and tradition of Helambu region is also very similar to the people in the Langtang and Gosainkunda area.

One of the key benefit of Helambu trek is peacefulness as it is very less crowded compared other regions of Nepal. Helambu trek offers your various alternatives of joining other treks like Gosainkunda trek and Langtang Trek.

Helambu region is scattered into beautiful highlands of Tamang and Sherpa Villages and offers magnificent view of mount Ganesh Himal (7.406m), Langtang Lirung (7.345m), and Gaurishankar (7.145m) ,pine forest, slow moving rivers, snow capped peaks, swim mountain streams, rhododendron flowers and green meadows.
