Pema D. Tamang
Chairman, Head of Social WorksMy name is Pema Dorje Tamang and Chairman and Head of Social Works for Nepal Convivial Trek & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. I have running a hotel business in the mountain region of Langtang National Park for more than 40 years now and have been strongly connected to social and economic development of the region. With over 40 years of experience in the tourism industry , we are now diversifying our services into trek and expedition sector of Tourism too.
I have been always committed towards the development of community and tried to contribute to the society as much as i can. Therefore, I served the local community for 10 years as a Chairman for village development community and initiated several development programmes like local school construction, establishment of electricity connection to the village, access road construction, construction of bridges, and several social projects.Additionally, I worked as a Chairperson for Langtang National Park Buffer Zone Committee and in close co ordination with national park governmental authorities and WWF, we successfully worked towards development of sustainable tourism through the protection of national park. We worked very closely with Nepal Army as an anti poaching team to protect forest, eco system and wildlife, specially Endangered Read Panda. In close co ordination with WWF, we worked towards different projects of drinking water, irrigation, agriculture , skills training and development, tree plantation etc.
Tshering Sandu Tamang
FOUNDER / CEO, Trek & Expedition AdvisorMy name is Tshering Sandu Tamang, Founder and CEO of Nepal Convivial Trek & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. I was born and grown up in the mountain region of Langtang National Park, Nepal. Due to the nature of the environment I was grown up, very shortly after completing my higher studies, strong passion for outdoor adventure and activities fully attracted me. Therefore, I started working as a professional government licensed trekking guide in the mountains since 2010. Since then, I have extensively guided numbers of tourists throughout all the trekking regions of Nepal and incorporated family based trekking agency in Nepal with a strong vision of “Exceeding customers expectation through sustainable tourism and personalised touch” .
During my long journey of trekking in the mountains, I have accumulated all sorts of experiences, knowledges, insider tips and tiny details of each and every trails. Therefore, i am fully looking forward to offer everything I have gained to our customers through my personal philosophy of “continuously challenge myself to creatively develop distinct tours that delights customers “. I am always committed to guide you myself as long as time is not constraint.
During my off season spare period, i frequently travel into wild and new mountain regions, to explore, design and develop new exciting routes. Additionally, I work on charity and relief programs organised in collaboration of our agency and donor from other countries to support local peoples in Rural Areas.
I have visited several countries in Europe and exactly known the kind of trekking tour people are looking for in Nepal. Therefore, I constantly carry out market surveys and customer reviews so that best trekking tours can be designed with a careful consideration of all specifications of our customers. I always dedicated to make necessary recommendations, advices and customisation regarding the trekking route and region in Nepal.
Urken T. Tamang
Managing Director,MBA & ACCA UK, AMABE (associate member of Association of Business Executive UK)I am Urken, Managing Director of Nepal Convivial Trek & Expedition Pvt. Ltd., was also born and grown up in the mountain region of Langtang National Park, Nepal along with my Founder brother. Having multiple trekking experience by the age of 20, I moved to London United kingdom for my higher studies into travel tourism and business studies. I completed ABE Advance Diploma of business and entrepreneurship from South London College, MBA (Masters of Business Administration) from University of Sunderland, UK and ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) from BBP University, Kings Cross, London. I am also an associate member of ABE (Association of Business Executives ) UK.
I always aimed for setting a local tourism business prior to moving to UK and currently having acquired all expertise of tourism business and customer services from UK, we are setting a family based tourism business with the collaboration of all our expertises to meet all tiny need details of our customers. My personal philosophy is “delivering exceptional memorable customer experience by going an extra mile, constantly connecting and creating a lasting relationship through responsible tourism”.

Head of Customer ServiceMy name is Devi Lama, head of customer service for Nepal Convivial Trek & Expedition Pvt. Ltd. Previously I resided 8 years in London, Kingdom and visited several countries in Europe like Germany, Belgium, Netherland and France. I worked for multination company McDonalds as a Manager for 5 years . I have also participated as McDonalds Customer Service Team for the London Olympic park during London Olympic 2012. Through all my international knowledge and work experiences, I am fully working towards constant enhancement of Nepal Convivial’s Customer Service.
