Red Panda Trail Trek to Gosainkunda Lake
Red Panda Trail Trek is considered short classical trek that keeps fascinating trekkers throughout the trekking duration with its stunning landscapes, nature walk, scenic mountain views, rain forest and rich ethnic culture. The trail is specially designed to explore the habitats of unique and endangered Red Panda (Ailurus fulgens) while hiking in the mountains. Red Panda is only found in few places of the world and Langtang National Park is one among them. Only less than 10,000 red pandas are left in the world as per WWF and as per the geographical information system study only 24 red pandas in 3-4 groups are left in Langtang national park.
We work closely with anti poaching team of Langtang national park to protect and grow in the number this endangered animal. Therefore, we are fully aware of red panda trail with view towers for photographs and we have our own approach of hiking through the red panda forest without having any impact on their habitat. Our trek will cover main habitats of red panda in gosainkunda regions like Chyolangpaati, Gupchye, Polangpaati and Dokachye.
